US And Saudi Arabia-The Deal

I was hoping I could get away from this subject, but to paraphrase Michael Corleone, "Every time I try to find something else to blog about, they drag me back in."

Well, it is a doozy this time out. According to this report from the Asia Times, a deal was made between the Obama Administration, through Hillary Clinton's State Department, and Saudi Arabia. The gist of it is, the Saudis would agree to coral Arab League support for the Western "kinetic military action" in Libya if the US would support them invading Bahrain for the purpose of putting down the revolt of the country's majority Shi'ite population.

It gets better. According to the report, less than half the Arab league ever supported the establishment of a No-Fly Zone over Libya. In fact, out of the 22-member organization, only six of the nations supported the move. Evidently, the rest abstained from the vote. If there ever was a vote to begin with, that is.

The report starts to descent into leftist lunacy at this point, which makes one wonder about the validity of the report in general. Supposedly, this is just another western plot to control Arab resources, in this case Libya. Then again, this might not be so far fetched, when you consider the energy needs of the European Union. In fact, we could be seeing a general realignment of resource allocation, with the European Union taking the lion's share of Middle Eastern resources, while the US generally backs away from the region (and its support for Israel), and concentrates its energy needs on subsidized green energy production at home, and new foreign sources for crude oil, such as Brazil, though this would be mainly as a sop to take the edge off exploding energy prices on the way to the new domestic Green Revolution.

Under this scenario, NATO would play a greater role in Middle East stability, while the US would greatly reduce its role, and its energy access.

In other words, a recipe for real disaster, for Israel, for the majority of the citizens of the EU who do not have a clue as to the problems this will cause them domestically and economically-and for the US.

In the final analysis, my only real quibble with the report is the Asian Times seems to hold that there ever really was a legitimate pro-democracy movement among the Muslim countries of the Middle East and North Africa to begin with. I think the whole thing, from beginning to end, was maneuvered and manipulated by the west and the Obama Administration.

If it had just been one or two countries, I might consider the possibility that things are the way they have been presented. But the entire region, one country after another.

Sorry, this has foreign intrigue and subversion written all over it. The only real question is, who and why? It shouldn't really be that hard to figure out.

Things That Make You Go WTF?!

Caption the freak below if you wish.

The picture is of a man in the process of changing to a woman, complete with fake breast implants, on a daily dose of female hormones. Now, however, he might be spending the next couple of years in jail for child abuse. He abused his own kids because they refused to call him mom. His girlfriend, who witnessed the abuse, is also in trouble.

I wonder if he's going to bitch if the judge refuses to send him to a female prison. One thing though, if he goes to a prison for male offenders, he shouldn't have any problems with his fellow cons not recognizing him as a female. In fact, I have a suspicion he'll get to be very familiar with the Korean word for bitch.

The Truth Hurts

When a former CIA analyst talks, you listen out of the sheer sense that there's a pretty good chance he might just know what's he's talking about. The video below is notable for far, far more than the way Michael Schuerer criticizes CNN's Christine Romans for "carrying Obama's water". Notice how he explicitly states that the American involvement in Libya is the work of Hillary Clinton, and-John McCain, two people who just can't seem to help wanting to intervene in the affairs of foreign nations. McCain is a doddering old fool who, had he won the election and lived, would have done incalculable damage to the country, which would have likely been permanent in lieu of the irreparable harm he would have done to the Republican Party, which remember at the time was already practically on life support.

Now he is in the Senate insisting that we need to do something about the situation in Libya which we should have kept at far greater than arms length from the start. Arizona made a grave mistake by returning this crusty old RINO to the Senate. For all his flaws, J D Hayworth would have been a vast improvement.

As for Hillary Clinton, she's always been arguably a bigger snake than her husband, and twice as venomous.

Donald Trump-The Sizzle Sells The Steak

I don't know how to take Donald Trump. Tonight on The O'Reilly Factor, yet to be aired (8:00 pm est) he calls Obama "our weak president" and complains that he kisses everybody's ass, in those exact words, which are bleeped out. This is a continuation of an interview the first part of which aired last night, in which Trump gave credence to the Birther Movement, which he claims is made up mainly of everyday patriotic Americans who simply have their doubts as to the legitimacy of Obama's presidency. Trump claims Obama could easily clear it up, if he was born in the US, but he goes on to intimate very strongly that he is having his doubts.

So what is this all about? I don't know that much about Trump. I do remember that in an earlier election cycle, maybe 2004, Trump made some noise about running then as well, but if I remember right, then he was talking about running as a Democrat.

My main concern is that in any series of debates he could suck all the oxygen out of the room. If he did win the nomination, the problem then becomes, will he stick to his guns. Sure, he's making some of the right noises now, including some that most candidates are not making, and in fact are shying away from in some cases. But if he actually won the nomination, would he continue as he has been, or would he just be another one of these guys that can't run to the center fast enough.

In this day and age, there is only one legitimate reason to run to the center, and that would be in order to sell to the broader population the same exact principles with which you secure the nomination. Trump could do that. As a businessman, he knows better than most the old business principle I alluded to in the title of this post-"the sizzle sells the steak".

But does he want to sell the steak, or would he prefer to build a coalition of the center, like so many politicians, GOP and Democrat alike? If the Tea-Party takes him to the dance, will he leave them stranded in the corner while he dances with the RINO moderates, or will he dance and leave with the ones who bring him?

That, and not any particular policy issue, is the most important question Donald Trump needs to answer before I could ever be comfortable supporting him.

The fact that he's been making conciliatory gestures towards his old rival Rosie O'Donnell-why now-doesn't ease my concerns.

Rand Paul's Response To Obama's Libya Address

Some murmurings lately have suggested that Paul might be planning to run for President. I hope he doesn't, not because I don't think he'd be a good, maybe even a great president. I would definitely vote for him if he won the nomination. But Kentucky would be deprived of somebody who is shaping up to be one of its all time great Senators. They have been few and far between.

As for this response to Obama's speech earlier tonight, I agree with him one hundred percent, and I would like to point out that I, for one, have had grave misgivings about our role not just in the Libyan conflict, now a full blown civil war, but with the unrest that has been enveloping the Middle East in general. I agree with those who suggest that Obama has been supportive of the uprisings while keeping relatively in the background. My own view is that he, at the instigation of many in the State Department, as well as influential people in the EU and the UN, to say nothing of non-official influences such as Workers Of The World, Code Pink, the AFL-CIO, and the SEIU, to name a few, are manipulating these events with a goal of reshaping the Middle East.

I suspect they hope to remold it along the line of a European model, a region of quasi-socialist democratic states that might be more peaceful, prosperous, and progressive. If so, its a dangerous game, almost a fool's errand fueled in part by ideology and in some cases a desperate hope for peace couple with an insatiable lust for expanded profit and, in the case of Europe at least, access to a more and desperately needed supply of oil-possibly at the expense of the US, actually.

Yet, American inside-the-beltway politicians of both parties share much of the same goals, and I would like to point out that in the face of ever greater demands for budgetary restraint among mainly freshmen members of Congress, and from ever growing sections of the American population, there is much insistence, and rightly so, of concurrent demands for cuts in defense spending, which is through the roof-to the point where it has become an entitlement in its own right.

What better way to nip those demands in the bud than by throwing yet another splendid little war?

Who Is Chaim Witz And Why Is He So Angry?

Chaim Witz is an Israeli born immigrant to America who is angry-very, very angry at the American rock musicians who have recently called for a boycott on performing in Israel, as well as calling for boycotts of Israeli products, over Israeli treatment of Palestinians. This angers Chaim deeply, as he is himself very proud of his Israeli heritage. That is just who Chaim is.

Chaim Witz is also this guy-

Nice to know Gene Simmons isn't a PC tool, unlike it seems most major American entertainment figures. Well, not all the time anyway. He is one of these, unfortunately, who mistakenly has it in his head that the recent round of unrest in the Middle East is all about people wanting freedom and democracy. I guess anybody that goes around in get-up like this can't help but engage in some wishful thinking. We'll work with him on that.

Farrakhan Rants And Raves About Obama's Libya Policy

Please bear in mind that if Louis Farrakhan were not an American citizen, but were instead a citizen of a Middle Eastern, Asian, or African Muslim nation, he would probably not be considered a radical at all, but probably relatively moderate. Once you absorb that, you start to see how Obama's policies now are only going to make a bad matter much worse. And its already happened. The Arab League, at one point staunch advocates of the imposition of a No-Fly Zone over Libyan airspace by the Western nations, recanted their support almost as soon as the policy was implemented. There is no pleasing these people.

Farrakhan actually makes some good points, but he ruined them with his not unexpected diatribe against the IDF on behalf of what he calls the "innocent" citizens of Gaza. Taking that off to the side it is true our concerns over Rwanda, Darfur, and similar areas all over the world are on the order of cheap talk, rhetoric of concern with nothing to back them up. Why then Libya? What is the justification? The Lockerbie  bombing. The Berlin nightclub attack? Okay, but why now, after all this time, and after Qaddafi had moved steadily towards a more responsible position? He had even, during Bush's presidency, dismantled his nuclear program. He himself had earlier expressed concerns about terrorists and Islamic radicals. He had moved tentatively towards a position of support and cooperation with the West.

DING DING DING!!! I think we have the answer. Having said that, I do not condone nor forgive Qaddafi's past actions. If I had my way about it he would have been killed three decades ago. But that was then. As for Farrakhan, I think the man is running the so-called Nation of Islam along the lines of a criminal conspiracy, not unlike Cosa Nostra. There is credible circumstantial evidence that he was involved with, and possibly the mastermind of, the assassination of Malcolm X.

But he does speak for a broad section of American Muslims, especially, of course, the African American Muslim community. Obama would do well to take his warnings seriously. Personally, I myself, taking into consideration Farrakhan's past history, sense the vague aura of a death threat in his words.

Bearing in mind that this is a man who likes to speak in riddles and allegory, listen to him carefully. It would be well-advised to wonder if his words might well have a double meaning, maybe even an implied order.

Irony Is A Cruel Mistress Indeed

Yeah, all you people that have been so adamant about the need for Obama and the US to stick up for all those freedom loving, democracy craving Libyans wanting to get out from under the thumb of Qaddafi, I got some great news for you. Turns out one of the Libyan rebel commanders leading these Libyan patriots actually fought against us once-in Afghanistan.

I guess he must have changed, huh? After all, everybody wants freedom, right? Who'd lie about a thing like that?

Muslims In France-A Prayer For Orphans

These are Muslims on a bus in France. The really scary thing about them is, they are teenagers. Notice the zeal etched in the voice and features of the future radical Islam and the idiotic grins of his followers. Europe has got a real problem on its hands, especially France, where these people are now a significant percentage of the population.

My personal view is if they start this crap over here, I'm sorry but it will mean our government has failed us in its constitutionally mandated duties and it will be time for the citizens to take matters into their own hands. If that's considered Brown Shirt, that's too fucking bad. Just read, below the video, the translation of what this jackass is preaching.

Translation-Oh Allah make orphans of their children! Amen!
Oh Allah destroy their women and make orphans of their children! Amen!
Oh Allah make the fame of Islam rule everywhere
Oh Allah grant glory to our oppressed brothers in Palestine! Amen
Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! There is no God but Allah and the Zionist is the enemy of Allah! There is no God but Allah, and the martyr is the beloved of Allah!

Since he is calling for the women to be killed but the children, not to be killed but to be made orphans, I guess that makes this little punk one of those moderate Muslims I'm always hearing so much about.

Virgin Records

This is from Media Matters, so of course its critical of Beck's joke. His point is of course not that its funny that Egyptian women were subjected to "virginity tests" by the Egyptian police. He was sarcastically pointing out that the Egyptians may be many things, but one thing they are most certainly not is "just like us" and desirous of nothing more than freedom and democracy. We collectively are in the process of turning the entire Middle East into, potentially, just another giant sized hotbed of Islamic fundamentalist states. If this goes on to its logical conclusion, a bloodbath of unprecedented proportions might be the upside. But way too many people just don't get it, on the right and the left. The left of course is beyond redemption, but the attitude of many on the right on this issue is just baffling. Beck at least gets it.

Guess Who Is Probably Running For President?

At least, according to Human Events, who claims that she will be. Well, technically, Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann is starting an exploratory committee that will evidently test the waters in New Hampshire and South Carolina. That is not a distinction without a difference, but it is the road must travelled to a run for the presidency. If all goes well, she will likely declare her candidacy in June, or maybe even sooner, according to this report which actually originated from CNN.

Yep, she would be one of my top picks. But you can almost count on media comparisons to Dennis Kucinich, who will almost inevitably be named as her Democratic counterpart in the coming primaries if Kucinich runs. My guess is though that those comparisons will be quickly forgotten once Bachmann starts out pulling ten or twenty percent of the vote, if not more.

Capitalism May Have Destroyed Life On Mars, Says Hugo Chavez

Well, that along with imperialism, according to Weasel Zippers. Its the kind of thing that almost writes its own punchline, and really, no further comment is necessary, but I will say this much. He is in a way almost, just slightly, on to something. Just maybe. Of course I'm not talking about the capitalism part, but let's face it, if there were life on Mars at any given time-and here I'm talking about sentient life, with consciousness and intelligence-they would have been living in a world that was far more precariously situated than is our own earth. Their ecosystem would have been weak, by nature of the relative smallness of the planet and its distance from the sun. Add to this the evident lack of any of the great, massive, and natural geological boundaries that separate our own continents, and diverse peoples, and you have a trifecta of disaster waiting to unfold, a situation where a rising and increasingly competitive group of peoples engaged in constant warfare and destruction might never have made it past their own bronze age. The wholesale slaughter not only of people, but of livestock, forests, and water supplies with the aim of destroying an enemy population, the constant situation of reprisals and counter-reprisals in a world that would have had meager resources to begin with, and little in the way of natural protection, might well have been devastating, and after so long, irreversible. It is something to think about.

Therefore, as foolish as many of Chavez's statements are, maybe in this case he has somewhat of a point, albeit one polluted with his ideologically poisoned attitudes. I know it might be hard to accept, but for just one example, try to picture the ancient Egyptians and the Babylonian Empires going at each other, or maybe the Punic Wars, the last one of which ended with Rome utterly destroying Carthage. Or even the Indian Wars in the US, or the Crusades, and the Islamic incursions into Europe that preceded and instigated them. Or you could even factor in a more recent time, such as WW II, and the Nazi blitzkriegs, particularly the war on the Russian Front.

Now picture any of that taking place, not on Earth, but on a small planet half our size, and twice the distance from the sun and you start to get the idea.

Who Do The Japanese Turn To In Their Hour Of Need

How do the Japanese handle disasters like the recent earthquake and tsunami, with the nuclear disaster forming a trifecta of tragedy. You might think they would turn to religion, and they do. A very small minority of Japanese are Christians, but they do have their spiritual sides. When it comes to celebrations and joyous occasions, their spiritual outlook is defined by their ancient Shinto heritage. However, when it comes to the kinds of tragedies they have recently faced, they tend to turn to Buddhism.

Yet, in their everyday, day to day lives, the Japanese are a very secular oriented people. It might be hard to understand for some people, and some might even consider them hypocritical, only crying out to their God, or Gods, when they have some great, overwhelming need, but otherwise ignoring them.

But are they really? Is it not a sign of maturity that they live their lives in a strict code of honor and adherence to ethical standards without applying a dogma or relinquishing control, and this responsibility, to some benign, or malignant spirit?

What I find interesting about the turn to Buddhism during a tragedy is their need for understanding. Is their hardship caused by some kind of universal karma that has brought this on themselves, perhaps?

The Japanese are not that different from all of us, are they? We tend to thank God, however we conceive him or her, for our good times, and pray to God for relief from the bad times, we ask for forgiveness and sustenance, etc., but otherwise, we too go about our daily mundane lives without giving it that much thought, for the most part. That's because our secular society is such that we too have learned to not lean so heavily on the superstitious need to find a divine cause behind every event. We tend to ignore the divine and the spiritual.

The only thing unique about the Japanese is they go from one religion to another, whichever one suits the occasion, with feeling the need to form a syncretic union of the two. Whereas we tend to stick to one path.

But then again, the Japanese are, at heart, pagans, I believe, so its more natural for them to look to different Gods in regards to different matters. Most Americans look to just one as the answer to everything. Sometimes they don't know what the right question is, but they're still pretty sure about the answer regardless.

Where Is My Nuclear Powered Car?

Can you believe this was actually a prototype for a car envisioned by Ford in 1958?

No, its not the Batmobile, exactly, but it is-a nuclear powered car, called back then, the Nucleon.

It was supposed to have a nuclear reactor in the back, and worked like a nuclear submarine, through a steam engine. That was way back in the day and was quietly shelved with as little fanfare as when it was first proposed. You would guess that would have probably been the end of it, right? I mean, it would be far too impractical, requiring such a heavy layer of shielding it would be way too heavy.

But that was then and this is, well not now, but for a brief time, it was actually considered, again, as a viable means of powering, not a steam engine, but an electric one.

And then Japan happened.

Back to the drawing board folks. We can do this.

The Magic Of Cheese

I don't know what it is, but there's something magical about cheese. Since today was Ostara, I got some Colby, along with some ham and some summer sausage, to enhance my celebration of this mystical first day of spring.

The more I see this clip from The Sopranos, the more I wished I'd went ahead and maybe got some Provolone to dabble on the floor, or to stick in my socks. Funny though, cheese is one of those things that puts me in a better mood, but I guess there are some people that will always be raving lunatics regardless.

Wonder Woman

Here she is-

Adrianne-palicki-wonder-woman
Her name is Adrienne Palicki, and she has agreed, for I'm sure a tidy sum, to waste her considerable acting talents on David E. Kelly's new revamped television version of DC Comics Amazon superheroin, Wonder Woman.

Not that I blame her. It is a job, and like us all, we need to pay the bills however we can. But it is a waste nonetheless.

Here she is in her past role as Tyra Banks, on the critically acclaimed NBC series Friday Night Lights.

Democrats Will Never Change

Obama's Justice Department is going to be investigating cases of school bullying, and will hold school districts accountable for such incidents. But only if the kid being bullied falls under the guidelines of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which, lo and behold, seems to have included gays.

DOJ’s website states:

The Civil Rights Division and the entire Justice Department are committed to ending bullying and harassment in schools, and the video highlights the Department’s authority to enforce federal laws that protect students from discrimination and harassment at school because of their race, national origin, disability, religion, and sex, including harassment based on nonconformity with gender stereotypes.

The statement later says:

The enforcement of the Equal Protection Clause, Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 in school districts is a top priority of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. Additional information is available at the Civil Rights Division’s Educational Opportunities Section website at www.justice.gov/crt/edo/

So there you have it. If you're a white male heterosexual, and not mentally of physically handicapped in any way, you're shit out of luck.

That's because most of you redneck honky fucks daddies don't vote Democrat. Let that be a lesson to you. And if you compalin about the unfairness of this law, that just proves that you too are a sexist, racist, homophobic piece of trash.

The Rape Of A Nation

In Cleveland Texas, twenty-eight black males raped an eleven year old Latino girl. As if that were not bad enough, they videotaped the deed, and then distributed it throughout all of the predominatly black high schools, and middle schools, where it was apparently all the rage. This all lead to the arrest of all twenty eight of these scumbags, who despite the nature of the crime seem to be enjoying a high level of support among the black community.

You know what this is going to lead to, a heightened atmosphere of violence and hate amongst the two communities. There will most certainly be reprisals, and counter-reprisals, and its not going to be pretty.

In a, well not perfect, but a just world, all twenty eight of these animals would be handed over to the girls parents and the Latino community and forced to suffer whatever fate they decided was most appropriate to dish out to them. Hopefully, the reprisals would end there, with the deaths, or worse, of the animals that perpetrated the deed.

But we don't live in a just world, we live in a world where the law and the justice system has been hi-jacked by advocates for the very sub-human beasts that have turned our world into a sewer.

And in the meantime, we are forced to endure the spectacle of the borders of our country thrown open in welcome to millions of dirtballs from every third world country imaginable, with customs and mores that think little to nothing of perpetrating these kinds of deeds on "the other".

And what do our politicians do in response? Far too many of them adopt the position that this is what this country was for, to inspire the downtrodden and, evidently, the miserable scum of the earth, who might hopefully evolve and bcome more civilized. But at the same time, we must respect their culture and their rights as members of some minority.

Because, you know, this country needs to become just a little bit more barbaric, just a little bit more savage, like the rest of the world. Because we need to be more understanding, and tolerant.

Good Doggie

Krystal Violet Norby, pictured above, was arrested by Chisago County Minnesota police after Canadian police informed them of a case they had uncovered. It seems that Norby had photographed herself having sex with two children, and a dog. She then shared the photos over the internet in a peer-to-peer file sharing system.

She was arrested, and the children were removed from her care. So was the dog.

We were recently able to interview the dog. In order to protect him, we shall call him Rex. The following interview is verbatim.

Fast And Furious-And An Impeachable Offense

While the Middle East is getting to the point where it could erupt in flames at any given moment, and while all eyes are focused on the plight of the Japanese, other things are happening, believe it or not, and they are going on almost under the radar screen, as if by design.

Its recently come out that an operation of the ATF, dubbed "Fast And Furious" has been underway for some time, and is an attempt to flood Mexico with American guns, allow Mexican gangs and gunrunners to pass instant background checks for gun sales, and then just sit back and see where those guns end up going. The idea was supposedly to then bust the criminal cartels in possession of the guns.

It didn't quite work out that way. Instead, the guns ended up disappearing as soon as they crossed the border, and there is very credible evidence that they have been used in crime in Mexico, crimes that have resulted in many deaths, including the deaths of American citizens.

An ATF agent has even alleged that he was ordered to sit back and let the gun sales go through and to not interfere, an order that agitated him in that it was in conflict with his sworn duties as a federal agent.

What gives this story even greater credibility to many who might otherwise disregard it is that it was first reported by Sheryl Atkinson of CBS.

But this was a story that was bound to break wide open, as there were a number of agents who in fact objected strenously to this operation, according to the Center For Public Integrity.

It gets worse. Not only is this a strict violation of our diplomatic relations with the Mexican government, almost tantamount to an act of espionage, if not open war, but there are very credible allegations that this might be part of a broader effort by the Obama Administration to rein in the sales of firearms. At least, that's what several agents have been saying to some people in Congress, Both Chuck Grassley in the Senate, and Darrell Issa in the House, are vowing an investigation into the matter.

It is also worth noting that a measure in the UN also seeks to severely limit and curtail the rights of citizens to own firearms, supposedly on the pretext of fighting terrorism. And our State Department is alleged to be negotiating some kind of concordance with these aims.

It's incredible that a large segment, and at times even a majority, continue to vote for a party whose politicians reluctantly affirm their commitment to the Second Amendment while appointing judges that they know good and well will uphold the most stringent of gun control laws, if challenged in the courts. It should be no surpise to any on either side of the gun debate then that something like this would happen. But we keep putting up with it. After all, there always seems to be "more important things".

It's almost like every morning, half the country gets up, looks in their bathroom mirror, and says "May I live in interesting times".

The Enemy Of My Enemy Can Kiss My Ass Sometimes

5-15-qaddafi
The whole Middle East is in turmoil and Israel may be in graver danger than ever before, but it looks to me like all anybody can think of is how they can score points either for or against Obama. Fuck that assclown. I'm not a fan or supporter of Moammar Qaddafi, but how am I supposed to know who these people are that are wanting to take power from him in the name of some nebulous freedom and democracy? These are Muslim Arabs here, who seem to be doing all their strategery during Friday morning prayers at their local mosques. I don't like this. There are too many bad actors.

Obama has been playing this pretty well. He's been staying in the background, and according to some reports his state department has been working hand in glove with several different international labor organizations, in addition to such groups as Code Pink and other nefarious leftist organizations.

Do you know why that is? Because he knows that if he took a more active, open role, the right would be accusing him of being a pro-Islamic hater of Israel and actively working to assist Islamists in taking over the Middle East. And that might very well be about eighty percent accurate, except for the Islamist part. I honestly think the man is hoping to establish a socialist renaissance, not just in the Middle East, but in the world, eventually.

Of course he can't come out and say that or damn sure not work openly toward that end, so he's got to stay very much in the game, looking concerned, but at the same time, not worried. He knows he will be criticized mercilessly for, for example, taking the time to pick NCAA brackets, but what the hell. He might as well be criticized for something inconsequential, and cool.

But the man behind the curtain at the State Department-that would be Hillary Clinton-is working feverishly on his behalf, meeting with European leaders, and with rebel leaders in Egypt, and Gods know who else.

And what does the stupid right do? Encourage Obama to do something. Encourage Obama to "support the democracy and freedom movement". In other words, they play right into Obama's hands.

Yeah, this is the intervention I was referring to in the previous post. My message to the right-

OBAMA HAS PLAYED YOU LIKE A VIOLIN AND MADE YOU LOOK LIKE FUCKING IDIOTS. CONGRATS, YOU GOT WHAT YOU "WANTED".

Now, if the whole region does go down in flames, and if it does turn into a struggle for control by Islamist radicals-or is eventually controlled by Islamist radicals-its just as much your fault as it is his. You helped this happen.

Meanwhile, as NATO is in the process of establishing a No-Fly Zone over Lybia, attacking Lybian infrastructure and anti-aircraft positions in order to assist the so-called democratic movement, another insurgency is underfoot, in Gaza, from whence fifty-four missiles at last count have been launched into Israeli territory, the most at any one time in a number of years.

The enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend, god damn it. Sometimes, the enemy of your enemy might hack your head off with a dull blade if given half a chance. Handing him the means and wherewithal to do so might not be the smartest move you could ever make, even if that first, mutual enemy is someone you utterly despise and wish to destroy. Somebody like Moamar Qaddafi. Or Barak Obama.

We Prefer To Call It A Carefrontation

I'm planning my own intervention, and its not going to be pretty, but such things never are. Its not about drugs, but it might be a nastier habit certain people need to break themselves from. I am not hopeful.

But it got me to thinking about the whole process of interventions. They usually involve either drugs or alcohol, or both. In this scene from Season 4 of The Sopranos, we see how easily the best of intentions can go awry due to the inherently unpredictable nature of such endeavors, and the people involved.

Of course, in this case, the "family" involved in the intervention attempt towards one of their members, happens to be a Mafia family, so you can expect hi-jimks on a even greater order of magnitude.

Obama Cleverly Leading Obamabots In Worship Of Satan

Ha Ha this reminds me of Agent Coopers dream of the Red Room in the old series Twin Peaks.

Two Irish Guys On Saint Paddy's Day

I almost let the day slip by unnoticed, but at least I can pass along a good joke I saw on AceofSpadesHQ, courtesy of commenter Adrianna, as follows
So a man walks into Barney & Son's Ballyroan Bar and asks for a beer.
'Today's me birthday!' he tells Barney's son.
'Begorrah!' says another man at Barney & Son's Ballyroan Bar.  'Today's mine birthday as well!'
'Saints above!' cries the first.  'Two birthdays on the same day.  Drinks all around!'
And as Barney's son poured drinks all around, the first man says, 'You know,' he says, 'It were 37 years ago today, I came into the world in Rathdowney.'
'NO!' cried the 2nd man. 'I'm Rathdowney born and raised, meself!'
'Blessed Lady!' cries the first.  'Two Irishmen born and raised in Rathdowney.  Drinks all around!'
So the phone rings and Barney asks, 'Son, how goes the bar this fine evening?'
'Doing fine, Pops!' says Barney's son.  'The Ferguson Twins are at again.'

Prison Break's "T-Bag" Returns

Though Prison Break is long over, the old Prison Break production team has a new show on A&E called Brerakout Kings which airs on Sunday Night at 10:00 pm. And it seems as though Robert Knepper's old PB character, Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, is still alive and well in the hearts of old Prison Break fans. Or so the new show's producers hope.

When last we saw Bagwell, at the end of the Prison Break series finale, he was returned to Fox River to serve out the entirety of his lifetime sentence, with no hope of parole. After all, this was a man who had committed multiple murders and sex crimes, including the rape and murder of six teenagers-"not necessarily in that order" as one of the "Breakout Kings" characters muses when the team learns their latest assignment-to recapture T-Bag, who broke out of a van transporting him to a medical appointment to get a new artificial hand.

The Breakout Kings is a special task force made up in part of convicted felongs working to reduce their prison sentiences by working to help law enforcement recapture escaped convicts. As we can see in the following clip, they definitely have their work cut out for them with T-Bag.

As hideous a criminal as he is, I have to say he is probably my all-time favorite television series villain. Robert Knepper has the ability all actors crave but which few can master-the ability to chew up the scenery, and more importantly, to make the most heinous, despicably horrible villains human, and even sympathetic.

Knepper once explained this by saying, "there's a kind of innocence in his eyes. There's still a bit of hope there."

I can't wait for this episode. Old memories, good times.

Watch The Moonshine War

The best show currently on television right now is Justified, and this episode, "The Moonshine War", is the second season premiere episode. Justified airs every Wednesday at 10:00 pm on FX. In my opinion, it easily rises to the level of quality of such shows as The Sopranos and Dexter. Unfortunately, I was unable to embed the player here on the blog, but it is well worth your time to click on the link and watch the episode if you have not already seen it. It's on the FX site, which is a site worth visiting on its own merits. The Justified section features games and even a history of criminals in the US.

By the way, there have been six episodes so far, which means next week's episode will put it right at the half-way mark of the 13 episode season. My favorite episode so far is episode 5, "Copperhead". But they are all good.

It's based on a couple of novels and a short-story, "Fire In The Hole", by the great American crime novelist Elmore Leonard. If you have ever read anything by Leonard, you know that nobody does scumbag characters like he does. Most of his novels are set in Florida, but this series is set in Kentucky. Raylan Givens is a US Marshall from Harlan Kentucky who is not above stepping outside the law in order to make things right with the world. The title, Justified, refers to the legal finding in regards to his shooting and killing of a criminal. Once based in Florida, Raylan was reassigned to his Kentucky roots. The first season took place in Lexington, but this season is set primarily in Harlan.

Givens finds himself having to juggle problems with his ex-wife, and his former friend Boyd Crowder (played by Walton Goggins, formerly of The SHIELD), an ex-con who can't quite go straight, for all his good intentions. Meanwhile, Raylan finds himself in the middle of a hornets nest involving a family of hardened criminals involved in drugs and murder, led by the family matriarch Mags.

I'll just end by saying this show is a perfect antidote for those who think American television drama is of an inferior quality.

My Ol' Kentucky Home

If I chose to caption this picture, it would probably be something like-

17262_gallery

"THAT FUCKER SAID THAT?!

The woman pictured above is Jessica Talerovich, a young lady of Kentucky who was recently taken into custody by Louisville police when her companion at the time, one Jason Kircher, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol in a car. This occurred once officers spotted Kircher's 2005 Toyota weaving in and out of traffic. Kircher failed a field sobriety test administered by the arresting officers, even though his blood alcohol level was in fact below the legal limit.

As it happens, Kircher did have an excuse for his erratic driving. According to him, during the time he was weaving in and out of traffic, Jessica was giving him-a BLOWJOB.

I guess since he did reek of alcohol, the officers decided to weigh everything in the balance, and reached the conclusion the public interest would be better served were he incarcerated for the time being.

And though that is pretty much the end of this little tale of hillbilly happenstance in the city of Louisville Kentucky, there is one thing that seems to be missing. What is it?

Ohhhh, yeah, that would be Mr. Kircher's mug shot.

Dui

The Booby Trap

An Israeli model by the name of Orit Fox was performing with a live snake, when it bit her on the breast. She was taken to the hospital and given a tetanus shot, and then discharged. As for the snake-it died.

Orit-fox-breast-bite

Back in ancient times, that would have been viewed as some kind of omen. On the other hand, back in ancient times, they didn't have silicone breast implants.

As for people in our modern day, they might want to think about what might happen if these things were to leak and get in the blood stream. Unnecessary bullshit, but if you feel you got to have 'em, what can you say? Just remember they can be dangerous weapons, in the wrong hands.

Tyranny And Oppression-Sometimes, You Just Can't Beat It

UPDATE-Just in case you might be inclined to put as good a face on the following post as possible, it's just come to my attention that Hamas has put out a statement about the massacre of the Israeli Fogel family of five, including three children, two of them boys, ages five and eleven, in addition to a four month old infant girl.

Actually, the put out two statement, one in English, the other in Arabic.

The one in English-"Harming children is not part of Hamas policy."

And the one in Arabic?

"a Palestinian mujahid was able to break into the usurper (settlement) of “Itamar” south of Nablus in the occupied (West) Bank, and stabbed five Zionist usurpers."

H/T The Jawa Report

Let me give you some advice. Don't ever come on this blog and try to justify this batch of scum with me, because any attempt to do so will be summarily deleted. I am now officially announcing a no-tolerance policy towards this filth unless of course I decide what you have to say is so obviously over-the-top it can be used to make you and your "cause" look even worse than it already does.

 (End of Update)
I've been struggling over this post, because its one of the most distasteful things I've ever dealth with. But I think I have to say something, if for no other reason than it offers a concise explanation as to why I haven't exactly been beating the drum in support of all the various Middle Eastern uprisings-in Tunisia, Egypt, Lybia, and Yemen, also in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc.
My true feelings go beyond the mere hope that our sources for Middle Eastern oil remains stable, although admitedly that is a big damn part of it. But there's more, much more, to it than that. Simply put, I don't trust these people, and neither should you.
And to put it bluntly, I'm going to have to have a hell of a lot better reason to support them than that it might make Barak Obama look bad. That to me is so incredibly naive, and cynical, as to be borderline pathological. I refuse to play such stupidly obvious games.
But if you have to have a specific reason why I feel the way I do, here's a few good reasons.
Family2
Family3
Cute kids, huh? Awwwww. How sweet-
4d7be6e40c775bf8
Not only were the two pictured above brutally murdered by Palestinian Arab Muslims, so was their little sister-a four month old infant. Their father was also murdered, along with his wife and the children's mother, the only one whose picture after the murder has not been released by the family. I don't even want to speculate why, though I have my ideas. All I know for a fact was that this Israeli family, the Fogel family, was murdered in cold blood.
The Palestinians of course had their own reactions to the news that this family was murdered inside their own homes by two of their own. They celebrated, passing out sweets in commemoration of the murder of this family of Israeli settlers.
610xpalestinianscelebrate
610x-1
610x
Hamas explains this as natural joy at the deaths of Israeli occuppers. I don't care what their excuses are, nor do I care that, technically, the current protesters in Yemen, Egypt, Lybia, etc., are not at fault. I do know they all support the Palestinians in their "struggle" for "freedom" from the "oppressive yoke of Israeli tyranny".
I also know they are all cut from the same cloth. If they get the "democracy" they claim they want, it will more likely than not turn into one vote for an Islamic government that will institute shariah law and rhen proclaim that as the people are now under the rule of Allah, no further "democracy" is necessary of adviseable.
And if you still need further reason as to why I don't give a shit about them.

Some peoples are cursed with tyranny and oppression. In many cases, they are cursed with the tyranny and oppression they deserve.

The Specter Of A Palestinian State Born In A State Of War

Buried under the deluge of news of recent events in the Middle East is the on-going Israeli-Palestinian debacle. For example, there is a movement on Facebook calling for a third Intifada, which is targeted to begin sometime in May, ostensibly around the 11th of that month. Why the delay until then, I can only speculate that perhaps there is a reasoning that by that time, depending on the overall success of the various Arab uprisings in the Middle East, the Palestinians would then be in a stronger position, not hindered by the very restrained support typically allotted by the various Arab Muslim despots of the region. After all, the likes of Qaddafi and Syria's Assad, to name just a couple, typically engage in rhetoric of support of the Palestinians mainly to defuse the dangers posed by the potential opposition to their own unstable regimes. Others, such as Mubarak, Jordan's Hussein, and even the Saudi royal family, give nothing of value to Palestinian desires for independence and statehood, and certainly do not support violence or terrorist activities against the Israelis. The only ones who openly support Palestinian terrorist activities, to the point of financial as well as moral support, are the Iranians and Hezbollah, the Iranian proxies in Southern Lebanon.

It is understandable that Palestinian supporters are of the hopes that the fledgling new governments of the Middle East will give them greater support, or at the very least not actively or covertly hinder them or the support of their citizens. But they may have overlooked the Palestinians greatest supporter thus far-President Barak Obama.

According to Caroline Glick, there is a diplomatic push recently to pressure Israeli Prime Minsiter Benyamin Netanyahu to grant further concessions to the Palestinians, which like all others would not be reciprocated, nor would any reciprocation be required. And how is the Obama Administration and State Department going about this? Glick claims they have threatened to name an international group to be the main arbiters of the final decision toward recognizing Palestinian statehood. This group includes the US, but also includes Russia, the EU, and the UN.

According to this scenario, the Palestinian state would be granted all of their current demands, which includes, but is not limited to, control over all of Judea and Samaria, as well as all of Northern, Southern, and Eastern Jerusalem. Glick makes the further point that such a declaration and recognition of Palestinian statehood would, by its nature, amount to a state automatically at war with Israel, and that any further counter-terrorist activities by the Israelis on the soil of this newborn Palestinian state would constitute an act of war by definition.

Glick claims that Netanyahu is also facing internal pressure to make these concessions to the Palestinians in order to hopefully forestall such international action, but maintains that such a move would be at best shortsighted, and advises that Netanyahu would be better advised to forthrightly oppose any such move by Obama and the international community, and to do so by appealing for help to the US Congress.

I agree, and would further advise Netanyahu to make it clear that such an action is likely to result in a bloodbath for one side or the other, and that he does not intend to take anything like this lying down. The Israelis have a strong plurality of American public opinion on their side, and probably an outright majority, and Obama knows this very well. Netanyahu would be well advised to appeal to this support while he still has that option. It might not be there forever.

What Hast The Obamassiah Wrought

What The Fuck Has Obama Done So Far you ask? The site linked lists quite a few, a seemingly endless variety of deeds, ranging from the mediocre to the WTF, all of which the site suggests is of valid worth, but much of which is counterproductive to outright deleterious.

Those who are opponents of Obama are unlikely to be impressed. For example, at least four of Obama's listed accomplishments are aspects of The Affordable Care Act, colloquially known as Obamacare. The site is obviously geared to reach those who are already Obama supporters, but who might not be aware of the extent of his many so-called "accomplishments".

Ironically, much of the site could easily be utilized by the anti-Obama forces as easily as by his supporters. It also has a link to a more family friendly version, "What the heck has Obama done so far".

I'll say this much. He's done quite enough, as far as I'm concerned. So much, in fact, I think he is very deserving of an early retirement package by the time of, oh I don't, maybe the end of next year.

The Most Evil Man In History

According to Dixonverse,Marvel Comics in the pages of its Ultimate Captain America series has decided the most evil man in history is-Richard Nixon. How did this revelation come about? Well, it seems that Captain America, sometime during World War II, due to some time travel anomaly, meets his nineteen sixties counterpart, who takes the earlier version hostage. The nineteen sixties Cap then regales his past self with what he knows to be the future history of the US, where Kent State demonstrators were murdered-shot in the back, during the Nixon era. Nineteen sixties Cap, you see, is having a hard time coming to grips with what the US has become in his time, and evidently he thinks that by telling all this now to his past self-which is of course himself-then he, meaning he in the nineteen sixties, will be better prepared, psychologically and emotionally, to deal with the gut-wrenching disappointment over how his beloved America has gotten away from its core values of freedom, justice, and fairness.

So what, you say? It's only a comic book, right?

Well, let's remember just what character we're talking about. Captain America originated just prior to the entry of the US into World War II. Even then, before our entry into the war, Cap's main foes were Nazi spies and saboteurs. In fact, the cover artwork of the very first issue of Captain America featured Cap punching none other than-Adolf Hitler, at that time considered by many the most evil man in world history.

Captain_america_hitler

In later years, that would be a sentiment shared by the majority of folks in not just America, but the world, as Cap himself entered World War II along with the US, fighting such notable Nazi foes as the Red Skull.

After the war ended, Cap's popularity waned, and so after a couple of futile attempts to revamp the character for the post war era (once during the Korean War, where he also fought a now communist Red Skull), the character was dropped.

Once superhero comics became popular once more, Marvel successfully revived Captain America, ignoring for the time being the post war adventures and saying he had been frozen in an ice glacier after a battle with the evil Baron Zemo, during which his teen sidekick Bucky was killed (many years later he too was revived as the Winter Soldier).

After his revival, and his successful reintegration in the silver age of Marvel Comics, he joined and eventually became the leader of the Avengers, while also carrying his own title, during which he continued his battles with the Red Skull, who also had fallen for a period into suspended animation, and who upon his revival wanted to take up where he left off in bringing about the Nazi dream of world domination.

To Captain America, the Nazis represented the most vile evil the world had ever conceived or produced.

Now, he is in the pages of Ultimate Captain America, learning through his future self that the evil of Hitler paled beside that of Richard Milhous Nixon, 37th President of the United States, and of course a Republican.

This is the most insidious attempt at leftist indoctrination of childtren I have ever heard of, I do believe, and I've known of some doozies. I hate to say it, but I think parents would be well advised from here on out not only to monitor what their kids are taught in school, but to censor what they watch and read in their spare leisure time as well.

Marvel and DC have both always had a leftist slant to the material, but this is just so over the top, it makes you wonder if the left hasn't gone completely over the edge into sheer raging, rabid insanity.

I wonder what's next on the list. George W. Bush as the new Green Goblin? Glenn Beck taking over the mantle of the new Red Skull? Or maybe a zombie Ronald Reagan clawing his way out of the grave driven by the urge to eat the brains of the innocent?

It's almost too depressing to make light of, but what are you gonna do?

Brokeback Government

UPDATE-The more I think about this post, the more disgusted I get. Harry Reid and the Democrats just don't get it. Reid's point seems to be that if it wasn't for federal funding of things like this, the economy of local communities would be deprived of things like the Cowboy Poetry Festival. It probably is a boon to the economy of the area in question, but its also beside the point. It just simply isn't the place of the federal government to be supplementing this kind of thing with taxpayer money.

Granted, you could fund a thousand of these things every year, ten thousand even, and it would still amount to a minuscule portion of the federal budget. The total money would not even amount to ten percent of one percent. But the point is, this is a signpost of government involvement in all areas of our life. It has become an obtrusive part of the national culture, and it, like so much else, needs to end. If things like this can't survive without infusion of taxpayer funds from the federal government, then the harsh truth is, they have no intrinsic value that would validate their continued existence.

Go to a fucking rodeo if you want to appreciate cowboy culture. End of Update.

In a year of trillion dollar deficits, and more down the line as far as the eye can see, and an accumulated National Debt of fourteen trillion dollars and growing, what does Senate Majority Leader Democrat Harry Reid insist the government should keep funding?
The Cowbody Poetry Festival

Because, you know, nobody would come to see this thing if all it had to depend on for the funding were the area businesses that benefit from the tourism.

Leftist Indoctrination Of-The Girl Scouts

Here is a page from a pamphlet put out by Planned Parenthood, and distributed at a special UN forum to-wait for it-The Girl Scouts.

Plannedparenthoodpamphlet
According to this pamphlet, which was presented to representatives from the Scouts at a "No Adults Allowed" forum, it is the right of anyone with HIV to decide when, if ever, to reveal whether or not they are infected with HIV, including to their own sexual partners. After all, if you tell your partner, there's a pretty good chance he or she might, well, end the relationship. And everybody, including the Girl Scouts, whether or not they have HIV, has a right to a healthy, fulfilling sex life. If your parents don't like it, tough on them. Just use protection and if you get pregnant, find another adult who can help you procure an abortion, in the event your backwards thinking parents don't want you to have one.

In the meantime, there are many more ways than the traditional one of gaining sexual fulfillment. There is oral sex, for example.

This should come as no surprise to anyone. The Girl Scouts have, as an organization, become a hotbed of radical feminism and leftist political indoctrination for now going on thirty years, if not well before then.

Unlike the Boy Scouts, who mean what they say when they say "be prepared", the Girl Scouts have long held their doors open to all manner of leftist influences, and its easy to see why. It has been a tradition for some time now that the First Lady is automatically a Girl Scout leader.

That means Michelle Obama is a special Girl Scout Troop leader, just like Hillary Clinton was when she was First Lady.

Girl_scout
When you think of these specimens, in addition to some of the other First Ladies the nation has had to endure, can it be any wonder that the Girl Scouts, once I'm sure a fine and worthwhile organization, has gone down the crapper? Granted, this looks to be nothing more than a politcal photo-op, but believe it or not, the First Lady, any of them, has an influence which can be brought to bear. They have, let us say, connections, who might consider the Girl Scouts and other such yout oriented organizations to be fertile ground.

And before you laugh that off, ask yourself, just why is it such a matter of controversy to the left that they just can't seem to get a foothold into the Boy Scouts of America? If you are tempted to think the Girl Scouts isn't such a big deal, then why is the Boy Scouts as an organization so important to the Left?

And now this, the UN and Planned Parenthood, working in collussion to influence more young people, this time through the auspices of the Girl Scouts.

And in the meantime, Barak Obama has promised to veto any funding bill that deprives Planned Parenthood of federal funds, despite the fact that we are, as of now, operating on upwards of a trillion dollar deficit, with similar deficits projected far into the future. Just another example of how Obama, and the Democrats in general, are a wholly owned subsidiary of what amounts to an incorporated American Left.

Just remember if you buy Girl Scout Cookies, you should wonder who you are really helping, and what.

The Red Skull

Entertainment Weekly has a new photo up of Hugo Weaving as The Red Skull in the up-coming movie Captain America-The First Avenger. Here it is-

Captain-america-red-skull_510
Pretty impressive. I'm always disappointed in the superhero movies I;ve seen, but I have to admit from what little I know about this one, it looks good. On the other hand, I said the same thing about The Dark Knight and Iron Man, and in both cases I was greatly underwhelmed (notwithstanding Heath Ledger's brilliant portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight).

The Red Skull is the penultimate Marvel bad guy. Where Stever Rogers was transformed by the super soldier serum into a representative of all that was great about America, Johann Schmidt was transformed into the living symbol of Nazi Germany.

In other words, evil incarnate. Sort of like a Democrat, but more stylish.

Obama And Americans Must Embrace Islam And Shariah-Or Else!

You just can't make this stuff up, you can only wish somebody else had.

The British radical Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary said on Sunday that U.S. President Barack Obama must embrace Islam as a way of life or face the consequences of a trial under the Shariah Islamic court system.

Choudary, who spoke with investigative reporter Aaron Klein during his radio program on New York’s WABC Radio, claimed during the interview that Obama is waging a war against Islam.

“[Obama] has promised all Muslims to be released from Guantanamo Bay. They are still languishing there even though he knows they are completely innocent,” said Choudary. “On top of that, he’s increased the number of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, so he is a war mongerer just as his predecessor was. And thirdly and more importantly, you know, the Muslims don’t want democracy and freedom. Democracy and freedom are anathema to Islam and the Sharia.”

Choudary also said that he is planning a protest in front of the White House on Thursday in which he will call on American Muslims to revolt against the country and implement Sharia law.

He added that during the protest he will also call on Obama and all Americans to “embrace Islam, not only as a religion but as a way of life.”

So this peace of shit is going to demonstrate in front of the White House today, and call for Obama, and for all of us, to convert to Islam and adhere to Shariah Law-or else!

Bear in mind, we aren't talking about just any old lunatic with some axe to grin. We are talking about the man who is responsible for the following video, courtesy of Hillbuzz-

Not everyone is down with this nonsense. At least one US Congressman, Myrick, wants to ban him from the US, but evidently that's not going to happen. Why not? We have people listed on terrorist watch lists who aren't allowed to enter the country. Why should this guy be allowed to come here and spread his filth?

It might not be a total loss, though. Thnakfully, Pastor Terry "Burn The Koran" Jones from Gainesville Florida is also planning to be on hand to lead a counter-protest, and hopefully provide some much-needed comic relief.

Muslim Brotherhood To The Western Left-Your Services Are No Longer Needed Or Desired!

I have no idea why more people aren't talking about this, but the world would do well to heed the warning of Israeli journalist Caroline Glick.

The silence of the likes of Susan Sontag, Jane Fonda, Noam Chomsky and their fellow travelers came to mind last week when the Western media and intellectual elites averted their gaze as Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, the long exiled spiritual guide of the Muslim Brotherhood spoke before a crowd of millions at Cairo's Tahrir Square.

Qaradawi, who had been living in exile in Qatar during Hosni Mubarak's reign, became an international jihadist superstar thanks to Qatar's unelected potentate Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani who gave him his jihad indoctrination show on Al Jazeera. From his internationally televised soapbox, Qaradawi regularly preaches international jihad and genocide of Jewry to millions of fans worldwide.

Two important things happened during Qaradawi's appearance in Cairo. First, his handlers refused to allow Google's Egyptian Internet revolutionary Wael Ghonim to join the cleric on the dais. For anyone willing to notice, Qaradawi's message in spurning Ghonim was indisputable. As far as the jihadists are concerned, Ghonim and his fellow Internet activists are the present day equivalent of Lenin's useful idiots.

They did their job of convincing credulous Western liberals that the overthrow of Mubarak was all about sweetness and light.

And now they are no longer needed.

As if that were not enough, we then were treated to the spectacle, ignored in the American media (and probably the European one as well) of Qaradawi calling for the destruction of Israel, and demanding that the Egyptian military open its borders with Gaza as a first step in bringing that about.

One commenter on Glick's blog made the statement that the West is heading off a cliff and certain Israeli politicians, like Netanyahu, seem determined to drag Israel off the cliff along with the West. Yet another one stated that the world is coming unhinged.

I'm perspnally starting to feel these statements are too mild. The world is already unhinged, and as for going off the cliff's edge, I think we've already started that descent, we just don't know it yet. We won't until we finally hit bottom.

When that happens, who will we have to thank for it? For my money, the lion's share of the blame will go to the American Left to whom democracy, like with the jihadis, is nothing more than a tool. The greatest enemies of liberty are not the ones who assault it from without, but the diseased and corrupt subversives who will never rest until they have destroyed it from within.

While this has always been true, the world has never been in this degree of peril before, because now we are at a juncture in which the enemies from within have joined forces throughout the western world in an unholy alliance with the most obvious enemies of liberty. Though they make it plain to all what their ultimate intentions are, most of us just don't want to see it. We still insist that their rights should be protected and defended.

What rights? The right to work openly toward our submission or destruction?

Utter blithering nonsense!

The Union Label

In the video below, a group of union thugs outside the Madison Wisconsin statehouse chase GOP legislator Glenn Grothman until they have him trapped. If it had not been for the intervention of Brett Hulsey, a Democrat, who knows what would have happened? Grothman may have been seriously injured, or possibly even killed. This crowd was obviously out for blood, but Hulsey, to his credit, and at obvious risk to himself, eventually got the crowd under control, possibly only because he was wearing a clearly identifiable orange union t-shirt.

Michelle Malkin has as good a rundown of events, complete with screen shots of some of the union protesters, as you will find anywhere, but I have to question her identification of Hulsey as a "Democratic State Senator". Aren't they supposed to be in hiding in Illinois someplace? I'm guessing Hulsey is probably a fellow state representative of Grothman, who he tells the crowd is his friend.

Whatever the case, I think its time now to put to rest the lie that Democrats and their supporters are all about having positive discussions based on civility and respect, though it is good to know that there are a few Democrats here and there that try to live up to the bullshit. Unfortunately, there are also those such as Rep. Gordon Hintz who shouted "You're dead" at colleague Michelle Litjens, a Republican representative. I'm afraid that when push comes to shove, they are the majority. But numbers, while important, don't tell the whole story. All it takes is a relative handful, or worse, a large minority, to do serious damage to life and limb, to say nothing of property.

Sooner or later, I'm afraid its going to get really ugly, and if somebody injures of kills one or more of these union thugs in self-defense, I think its a pretty safe bet who will get the blame in the mainstream media. If they injure somebody, on the other hand, you might not hear that much about it, if anything. Mark my words, its coming. Its almost like fate in the current atmosphere, and if not in Madison, then in Columbus, or Indianapolis, or Cleveland.

Somewhere.

Sheen versus Qaddafi-Who Said What?

Pretty damn cool. I challenge anyone to beat my score. I, like Professor Jacobson at Legal Insurrection, got five out of a possible ten. Harder than you might think.

Sheen versus Qaddafi

Teddy, That Liberal Lion

Something strange happened in 1961 that has just come to light involving late Massachusetts Democratic Senator Edward Moore Kennedy, something that has created a lot of buzz over the last few days, yet also something that seems to be in keeping with Kennedy's character, such as it was. On a trip to Latin America in that year, he rented a brothel, for an entire night, and also tried to meet with various regional leftists. His explanation for this latter action, or perhaps a better word might be excuse, was that it was his intention to "find out how these people think".

There is as of yet no discernible reason given for his renting of the brothel, aside from the obvious, so let's assume that just speaks for itself.

I find it telling that Kennedy's associations with Latin leftists seems to have made such a mark on him, to the point that he seems to have come around to their way of thinking. The most oft-cited incident during this period revolves around the Chilean Embassy, where officials refused to take part in any such meetings or to invite any of the Chilean leftists of note.

It's also worth pointing out that the most important leftist politician during this time in Chile was Salvadore Allende, who in twelve years would go on to lose his life as a result of a coup, allegedly forumulated by the CIA under President Richard Nixon.

But during 1961, he was not yet the Chilean President, but the most important opposition leader against Chile's then very conservative government.

It also bears mentioning that 1961 was the year that Kennedy's brother, President John F. Kennedy, had first initiated what would eventually prove to be one of his biggest long-term failures, the so-called Alliance For Progress, which might be best described as an intiatiative for instituting reforms in Latin American countries meant to benefit the working class and poor. In return for instituting these reforms, Kennedy's new organization promised a total of twenty billion dollars in low interest, in some cases zero interest loans.

The program pleased almost no one. To the leftists, it didn't go nearly far enough. To those on the right, it went way too far. And Chile, as I mentioned, had at the time a conservative government, and their supporters were in staunch opposition to the new policy, which was really meant as a way of stemming the tide of communist encroachment while guaranteeing American access to vital raw materials. In the case of Chile, for example, the main concern would be access to the vast natural resources of the desert north, especially copper.

But the main reason the program ultimately failed was that it accomplished nothing of lasting value for the people of Latin America, or for infrastructure and business development, that was commensurate with the loan obligations entailed by the program. Some might feel Kennedy was there in an attempt to gain support for the program, but it seems unlikely that his brother would have entrusted him with such a mission. I personally believe Ted Kennedy was playing James Bond, but that's just my opinion. This was before he gained his Senate seat, which happened in 1962. At this time, he was an Assistant District Attorney for Norfolk County, an obvious political appointment.

He would go on to a long career in the Senate, and notably had many close encounters in the realm of international subterfuge and betrayal involving contacts with the Soviet hierarchy, in the seventies and eighties. One notable case involved his collussion with the Soviets against the military and foreign policies of President Reagan. He offered to help their cause and to work against Reagan to their benefit. He also had a long association with the Irish Republican Army, his support for the terrorist Irish organization being indisputable.

And there are other instances that calls into question not only his loyalty, but his overall character, to such a degree that one has to assume that his degree of power and influence in the US Senate would make him a prime target for extortion and blackmail.

Indeed, all of this has only come to light due to an ultimately successful drive for release of classified documents in possession of the FBI through the Freedom of Information Act on behalf of anti-corruption watchdogs Judicial Watch. Much of the material was redacted, and a further suit succeeded in having much of this material released as well. But presumable, not all of it. And it was kept secret for fifty years, up until now. Given then Director Hoover's well known hatred of the Kennedy brothers, was he planning on releasing this to interested parties at a pivotal moment during the 1964 elections, had President Kennedy lived to run for re-election?

One has to wonder exactly when Kennedy became such a hard-core leftist and communist sympathizer. Was this the beginning stage, or did it come about well before this time?

It would really be interesting to interview some of the prostitutes from this night in question. Some of them might well still be alive, though they would be in their seventies, and eighties. For that matter, some might well be in their sixties. or fifties.

And, seeing as how this is Ted Kennedy we're talking about, one or two of them might well still be in their teens, or twenties. Unfortunately, if this is the case, they wouldn't have a lot to say.

Natalie Portman-Star Whores

Natalie Portman is probably a very liberal woman, although I say that with the caveat that I don't really know that much about her. I remember her more as a child star who in one film became the companion of a crime syndicate hit man. I don't even remember the name of the film, though I remember I was impressed by the then barely teen actresses acting chops.

The only other thing I know about her is, she's a vegan, which tells me she is more than likely very liberal, which means she would basically fit in with the Hollywood hoi-poloi quite nicely.

But then, in accepting her Oscar for her role in last year's film The Black Swan, she made a very serious boo-boo.

This assertion of the importance of her up-and-coming role as a new mother prompted this acerbic, rabid response in the pages of Salon.

Early on in her speech, before the part about her becoming a mother (while thanking the guy who kindly provided this golden opportunity), she thanked her parents for, to paraphrase her, giving her life and being good parents to her.

So there you have it, sensitive Hollywood types, and other leftists/liberals, being forced to endure the spectacle of a successful actress declaring her intention to be a good mother and further asserting that it would be the most important role of her life. As if that were not bad enough, she seemed to give some credence to the idea that a married couple-a man and a woman-might do a good job at something that is generally seen as the legitimate purview of government social services-raising a child. She even implied that she learned a good many things and that her relationship with her parents was positive. Oh, the horrors.

Seriously, liberals have a right to expect better than this from one of their own. And speaking of ingrates, Natalie Portman portrayed a lesbian in the film, yet did not give so much as a shout-out in acknowledgment of sympathy and support for LGBT issues. No, not so much as a word. See, that's the kind of thing that makes leftist fucktards chew their nails and rip their hair out. What an appaling lack of sensitivity on her part. Here you have a case where long lines of leftists line up for miles on end to bask in the glow of a young woman ballet dancer experiencing sexual release with a member of her own sex, and what does Natalie Portman do when she is rewarded for her efforts with an Oscar? She thanks her parents and brags about being pregnant with her own child.

Fret not, leftards, I'm sure things will move full circle. Maybe next year you'll be treated to an awards ceremony featuring Lady Gaga performing a work of performance art-incucing an on-stage miscarriage. Then you'll have a chance to write glowing colums of praise about how artistic and edgy she is, while Natalie Portman will be carrying her second child while taking orders at a greasy spoon diner, hiding a black eye, courtesy of the fists of her beast of an opposite sex mate, and secretly dreaming of what might have been.
