On the other hand, what you have to remember is that a lot of the Al-Queda fighters in Afghanistan and Waziristan are actually foreign fighters-and many of them are Arab. If any of them are captured it would be useful to have interrogators who are actually capable of conversing with them.
Granted, Obama is not exactly perfect, and I'm sure he could stand to learn a lot. If he's not careful, he's liable to reveal he doesn't know the difference between the Sunnis and Shi'ites that make up the population of Iraq.

Funny is Obama complaining that there's too many Arabic translators in Iraq and not enough in Afghanistan.
You'd think the party known for its lack of foreign policy depth would at least try to disqualify candidates that would flunk 6th grade geography.
