Hey, glad you like the Cramps! It's funny- MTV refused to show their Creature from the Black Leather Lagoon video when it came out, and I remember watching an interview with them, in which Lux explained, "Yeah, I think they had some problem with the part where she sits on my face!"
You actually have to click on a disclaimer button if you watch it on YouTube to the effect you are eighteen or over. I was afraid at first I wouldn't be able to show it here, but for now anyway, it's up.
I think there's probably a few things about it that bothered the MTV people. If you look right before and at the one minute mark, it looks like he pulls a small dick out of his underwear. At least that's what it looked like on YouTube, here it doesn't play quite good enough to tell, but hopefully that's a temporary thing. The video is more choppy, doesn't flow quite as good. That seems to be a problem with most videos I post at times.
Some people might have thought the opening sequence was a little too rough too.
The whole thing is really intense, but I thought it was hilarious. It doesn't hurt of course that the music is simply great. His death was a big loss. I wish I had known about them before Lux died.
I'm the same way with the Dead Boys- I found out about them years after they were gone though. But I never got to see the Ramones live, which has always pissed me off. The Cramps being gone is really shitty though- I can't think of any other bands I like as much and their live show was crazy. I'm pretty sure he's sticking fried chicken in his pants there. Also, if you ever get to see the movie Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!, they're sort of referencing it in this view. It's also a great movie.
That video, especially the beginning, is seriously nuts. Lux & Ivy had a "special" relationship. I am eagerly anticipating Ivy's next musical step. The last Cramps tour had Sean Yseult (sp?) of White Zombie on bass. I can't even imagine..... PS - I have noticed the slowdown on YouTube embedded vids, too.
Quim, I should have had you pegged as a Cramps fan. Yeah, that bit with the head and the clamps out of the bloody vagina was hilarious. That was the first thing that made me say, yep, I am going to post this.
That song definitely takes me bac. I also remember watching their interview on MTV back when they played music videos. What a trip these guys were. RIP Lux Interior, what an innovative freaky dude. The music world will never be the same w/o the likes of him.

Very creative video.
Rufus-
I think you're right about the fried chicken. It coincides with the lyrics at that point too. I'll have to check out the Dead Boys.
Come to think of it, damn, I had fried chicken for Mabon.
Ren-
Glad you liked it. It's almost as creative as my reasoning in opening up this Mabon series with it.
Persephone in mythology though doesn't come across quite as willing of an abductee as Poison Ivy in this video.
